I moved to Sudbury in 2006 from Washington, DC, where I worked for members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
My husband and I come from military families and spent our childhoods moving from place to place and starting over at new schools. We realize how lucky our daughter is to grow up in one home with friends she will have for a lifetime.
Our daughter began in Kindergarten at Haynes and is now at Curtis Middle School. Over the years, we have spent countless hours at Haskell Field, the Fieldhouse, and Feeley Field supporting her love of soccer, basketball, and softball.
When my daughter began school at Haynes, I was a regular volunteer in the school, a class parent, and an elected member of the School Improvement Council. In 2020, I joined the Board of Sudbury Extended Day and in 2022 was elected the Chairperson of the Board. Being a part of SED was a wonderful opportunity to meet more parents in this community and to show my gratitude for such an incredible organization. I became more aware of the unique challenges our community faces, and helped SED continue to grow.
